Cortland Weather Outlook: Sunday, October 31

Your Cortland County weather forecast for Sunday, October 31, 2021:

Low pressure will track north through New England and then northeast away from the region, keeping a few showers in the forecast.

Rain will be most likely during the morning hours. Even then, though, there should only be a few scattered showers about. These will become less common in the afternoon and should be mostly out of the area by dinnertime.

Skies will remain mostly cloudy throughout the day, though a few breaks of sun here and there cannot be totally ruled out.

Tonight, skies will turn partly cloudy for trick-or-treating. A stray, brief shower may still make an appearance, but most of the time it should be dry.

Winds will blow steadily from the west at up to 10 mph both during the daytime hours and early this evening. Top gusts will be in the 20-25 mph range.

Temperatures will be seasonable with highs in the low 50s. Evening temperatures will only drop a little, settling near 50 for the trick-or-treat hours.

Eventually, though, it will cool off with overnight lows making it down into the low 40s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next several days:
