Here is a breakdown of COVID-19 numbers in Cortland County from Tuesday, Oct. 26 to Monday, Nov. 1. It is based on recorded information from the Cortland County Health Department.
As of Monday, Nov. 1, the county reported 127 active positive cases and six hospitalizations. Since Tuesday, Oct. 26, there were 144 new positive cases reported -- which accounts for an 88% positivity rate increase in that span.

Active positive cases from Oct. 26 to Nov. 1 have gone up and fluctuated from 107 to 127. Hospitalizations as well went from seven to six.
According to the county health department’s weekly COVID-19 update between Oct. 25-31, 37 of the current positive cases are fully vaccinated, with four new hospitalizations and two new deaths.
Over 61% of the population in Cortland County is fully vaccinated, which is a .3% increase from the previous week.
