The #3 seeded Homer Lady Trojans lost a tough Section III Class B semifinal match against Westhill (2nd seed) in three sets on Tuesday.
With this loss, the Trojans ended their season with an 11-6 record.
Last night, the Trojans were led by Lily Sorenson (5 kills, 3 blocks & 4 digs), Kloey Ross (2 kills & 9 digs), and Mallory Douglas (13 digs)
Westhill was led by Ava Baty (24 assists & 6 digs), Kate Heinrich (3 aces ,7 kills & 5 digs), Alison Lancette (2 aces, 7 kills & 4 digs), and Tori Militi (2 assists & 11 digs).

This was the third time that the Trojans played Westhill in the season, with all of their encounters resulting in losses for Homer.
Westhill will play Marcellus (1st seed) in the sectional finals on Friday (November 5th) at Phoenix Middle School. Their game is scheduled to start at 5:30pm.
