Cortland Weather Outlook: Wednesday, November 10

Your Cortland County weather forecast for Wednesday, November 10, 2021:

A weak cold front moved through the area last night, setting us up for slightly cooler temperatures today despite a return to sunny skies.

A few clouds will be possible early this morning as the front departs. These will not last long, if they even stick around beyond sunrise. 

Sun-filled skies will dominate much of the day. Around sunset, a few thin clouds will start to work in from the west. These will continue to increase this evening and will stick around overnight.

No rain is expected from any of the cloud cover this morning or overnight.

Winds will be out of the northwest at around 10 mph this morning but will decrease to around 5 mph for the afternoon. The wind will then become calm this evening.

Temperatures will take a step back from the last couple days but will still be a bit above average. Look for afternoon highs in the low 50s. evening temperatures will quickly fall through the 40s and will end up in the low 30s overnight.

Thursday: Thickening thin clouds. Nighttime rain and gusty winds. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the low 50s.

Friday: Morning rain. Some sun late. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.

Saturday: Cloudy with rain showers, possibly mixing with snow late. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Sunday: Clouds, some sun, and a few stray showers or flurries. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the low 40s.
