Cortland Weather Outlook: Sunday, November 28

Your Cortland County weather forecast for Sunday, November 28, 2021:

A weak weather system will bring some light snow into the area today.

The snow will be on and off throughout the daytime hours. Most of the snow will fall very lightly and some breaks where it is not snow are likely.

Tonight, the snow will become less common, but a few heavier bursts will be possible. 

In all, only an inch or two of accumulation is expected.

Winds will be from the south at around 5 mph much of the day. Tonight, winds will start to turn to the southwest. 

After midnight, the wind will continue to shift to the west, then northwest. Wind speeds may pick up slightly but will remain under 10 mph.

With the clouds and snow, temperatures will top out in just the low to perhaps mid 30s. Evening temperatures will drop to the mid 20s, then rise back to the upper 20s overnight.

Monday: Morning clouds and a few snow showers. A little afternoon sun. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs near 30.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy. A few snow showers. Morning lows in the upper 10s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. Maybe a rain shower late. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs near 40.

Thursday: Rain showers likely. Morning lows in the upper 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.
