Cortland Weather Outlook: Monday, November 29

Your Cortland County weather forecast for Monday, November 29, 2021:

It will be another chilly day, but conditions will remain mostly quiet as yesterday’s weather system pulls away.

The morning will be rather cloudy and a few more snow showers will be possible. Any snow that falls will be light with nothing more than a light dusting of accumulation. Some areas will probably not even see any snow this morning.

During the midday and first half of the afternoon, the clouds will gradually start to break up. By the mid and latter afternoon, there will only be a few clouds left with a good deal of sunshine.

Skies will remain partly cloudy to mostly clear this evening, but then new clouds will begin to stream in after midnight.

Winds will be from the northwest at 5-10 mph today. Top gusts will come during the midday hours at just over 20 mph.

Temperatures will only reach the low 30s this afternoon. A few of the hills in the northern part of the county will struggle to get above 30 degrees.

With at least partially clear skies this evening, temperatures will be quick to drop into the low 20s and upper teens. Some pockets may even get colder.

As the clouds move in and winds turn to the southwest overnight, temperatures will climb back into the mid 20s before the sun rises.

Here is a look at the weather for the next several days:
