A warm front will approach the region this afternoon with some rain showers.

Skies will be rather cloudy throughout the day. The best chance for some sun to filter through the clouds will come early this morning. After that, the overcast will become thick.

Rain showers should arrive during the early afternoon. It may rain most of the next few hours before the rain becomes more spotty for the late afternoon and early evening.

The rain that falls will be light with low rain totals. Many places may not even reach one-tenth of an inch of rain.

Winds will be from the south-southeast with speeds of 10-15 mph. The highest winds will be over the hills in the northern reaches of the county. Here, some gusts could exceed 30 mph.

Temperatures will be held back by the clouds and showers with afternoon high just getting into the low 40s. Temperatures will then rise into the mid 40s during the nighttime hours as gusty south winds continue.
