Homer Varsity Girls Basketball Team Loses to Bishop Ludden on the Road

The Homer Lady Trojans lost a tough game against Bishop Ludden with a score of 46-72 on the road Thursday night. 

It was a close first quarter, but Bishop Ludden extended their lead in the second quarter and entered halftime with a score of 32-16. 

Bishop Ludden’s offense would go on to outscore the Trojans 40-30 in the second half to ultimately get the win.

With this loss, the Trojans now hold a 2-2 overall record. 

The Trojans were led by Gracie Patriarco (31 points, 4 rebounds & 4 steals), Sarah Sovocool (4 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists & 6 steals), and Catherine Apker (4 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists & 2 steals).  

Bishop Ludden was led by Amarah Streiff (30 points, 12 rebounds & 3 assists), Ava Carpenter (10 points, 2 rebounds & 2 assists), and Sophia Chemotti (9 points, 2 rebounds & 4 assists).
