Cincinnatus Volleyball Team Beats McGraw in Cortland County Matchup

The Cincinnatus Lady Lions defeated McGraw in three sets at home Monday night.

With this win, Cincinnatus now holds a 2-2 record, while McGraw falls to 0-5.

“The lady lions played well together and came out strong,” said Cincinnatus Head Coach Teresa Merihew. 

“This was a great game for the girls (Cincinnatus) to come back from break,” Coach Merihew added. 

Cincinnatus was led by Caitlyn St. Germain (19 assists, 3 kills & 9 aces), Allyson St. Germain (13 kills), Shannon Ryan (4 kills), Payton Gerrard (4 aces), Jayda Mudge (4 kills), and Layla Aiken (4 kills).

McGraw was led by Madison Lawrence (1 kill, 3 blocks & 3 digs), Tehya Long (2 digs & 1 assist), and Julia Greene (1 block & 2 aces).

Up next the Lady Lions will take on Faith Heritage on the road on Wednesday (January 5th) at 5:30pm; while McGraw goes against Weedsport at home on Wednesday (January 5th) at 7pm.
