Cortland Weather Outlook: Saturday, January 8

Your Cortland County weather forecast for Saturday, January 8, 2022:

High pressure will move through the region today with quiet weather.

Some lingering lake effect clouds early this morning will dissipate as the high passes overhead, killing the wind.

Sunshine will be plentiful for much of the day once that happens, though some occasional thin clouds may drift through from time to time.

Skies will remain partly cloudy to mostly clear this evening, but by midnight, it will start to cloud up.

No precipitation is expected today or tonight until some freezing rain works in during the predawn hours, well after midnight.
