The Marathon varsity girls basketball team came into this week ranked third in New York State in Class D, and top-ranked in Section IV Class D.
The Olympians, coached by Andrew Pierce, have an 11-2 record so far this season. Marathon’s upcoming schedule shows them facing off against Section IV opponent Tioga Friday evening (7:30 p.m. start), a non-league matchup against Ithaca on Saturday (3 p.m.), and a home game versus Union Springs this upcoming Tuesday (7:30 p.m.).
