Update: Driver Shortage Causes Cortland Transit Temporary Reduction of Service

Cortland County is informing the public that there has been an unplanned service disruption with Cortland Transit public bus system. Cortland Transit will be operating at reduced services starting Wednesday, February 2, 2022 through Friday, February 4, 2022 due to a driver shortage. The following routes are affected:

  • Route 5 will not be in operation
  • Route 2 will not be in operation from 12pm-6pm

The following routes will not be in operation on Friday, February 4, 2022:

  • Route 7 will not be in operation
  • Route 6 will not be in operation from 6am-12pm.

Cortland Transit expects to be back in full operation Monday, February 7, 2022.
