Cortland County COVID-19 Wrap-Up for Tuesday, Feb. 8

Here is a breakdown of COVID-19 numbers in Cortland County from Jan. 31 to Feb. 7. It is based on recorded information from the Cortland County Health Department and the New York State Department of Health.

As of Feb. 6, there have been 12,184 total positive cases, 571 total hospitalizations and 109 deaths in the county. According to the county as of Feb. 6, the daily average of positive tests amongst county residents is 8.9%.

According to the county health department’s COVID-19 update for the week of Jan. 31-Feb. 6, there were 318 positive cases and around 15 hospital admissions.

As of Feb. 6, the percentage of county residents fully vaccinated is 58.3%, with 61.5% of residents that are 5 years-or-older reported as fully vaccinated. Additional county numbers show that 53.4% of county residents are fully vaccinated with a booster shot.
