Cortland Lady Tigers Lose Tough Sectional Quarter-Final Game vs. Bishop Ludden (Photos Included)

The Lady Tigers (#6 seed) lost a tough game against Bishop Ludden (#3 seed) in the quarter-final round of the Section III Class A Sectional Tournament with a score of 34-67. 

The first quarter ended with Cortland being down 4 points, with a score of 10-14. 

However, Bishop Ludden would go on to outscore the Lady Tigers 11-21 in the second quarter, therefore getting a 14 point lead at halftime. 

The Lady Tigers were then not able to overcome the deficit in the second half, and ultimately lost the game. 

Here is a score breakdown of last night’s game: 

Cortland was led by Kendall Mack (10 points), Mallory Turner (7 points), and Valerosa Gambitta (6 points). 

Bishop Ludden was led by Amarah Streiff (20 points), Kaitlyn Kibling (19 points), and Bridget Dunham (15 points). 

With this loss, the Lady Tigers ended their season with an overall record of 14-8.
