Here is a breakdown of COVID-19 numbers in Cortland County from March 7-13. It is based on recorded information from the Cortland County Health Department and the New York State Department of Health.

As of March 13, there have been 10,361 total positive cases, 606 total hospitalizations and 115 deaths in the county. According to the state’s COVID-19 tracker, the 7-day average for percentage who test positive and cases per 100K is 2.1% and nine, respectively.

According to the county health department’s COVID-19 update for the week of March 7-13, there were 52 positive cases and two hospital admissions.

As of March 14, the percentage of county residents fully vaccinated is 58.9%, with 62.2% of residents that are 5 years-or-older reported as fully vaccinated. Additional county numbers show that 55.7% of county residents are fully vaccinated with a booster shot.
