Your Cortland County weather forecast for Saturday, April 23, 2022:

A warm front will move through the area today.

The front will be slow moving, resulting in plenty of cloud cover throughout the day.

The chances for rain will be highest in the midday and afternoon hours. It should not be a washout, but just a few scattered showers from time to time. Rainfall amounts will be minimal, and many areas will see little to no rain.

Winds will be from the south and southeast with speeds near or slightly above 5 mph. Top gusts on the day will only be around 15 mph.

The clouds and potential for showers will hold temperatures in check. Look for afternoon highs in the upper 50s. Much warmer air will move in as the front clears the region tomorrow.

For tonight, clouds will remain in place, but will gradually start to break up over overnight. Evening temperatures will drop to the mid 40s, where they will remain overnight.

Sunday: A good deal of sunshine. Warm. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid and upper 70s.

Monday: Mostly cloudy. Afternoon and evening rain. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs near 70.

Tuesday: Periods of rain. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the low 50s.

Wednesday: Breezy. Rain showers, mixing with snow at times. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the low 40s.
