Marathon Varsity Track & Field Results: Moravia Blue Devil's Invitational (Photos Included)

The Marathon Olympians competed in the “Moravia Blue Devil's Invitational'' this past Saturday (April 23rd) against five other schools (Moravia, Groton, Southern Cayuga, Trumansburg, and Union Springs).

Here are some individual results of both the Marathon varsity boys and girls track & field teams:

Marathon Boys

Braeden Morrison won 1st place in the 400 meter run (Time- 1:00.21). He also came in 6th in the 100 meter dash (Time- 12.78).
Christian Baez placed 4th in the 800 meter run (Time- 3:55.61). He also placed 7th in the discus throw event (Result- 66’3”).
Hashem Alalaweyat placed 4th in the 400 meter run (Time- 1:08.79).
Geraldo Baez placed 5th in the discus throw event (Result- 73’11”).

Marathon Girls

Abigail Trabucco won 1st place in the 400 meter run (Time- 1:07.89). She also placed 4th in the pole vault event (Result- 7’0”).
Anna Hoyt placed 2nd in the 200 meter dash (Time- 29.88). She also placed 4th in the high jump event (Result- 4’2”).
Delta Barber came in 2nd in the triple jump event (Result- 27’7.25”).
Abigail Edsall came in 3rd in the 400 meter hurdles (Time- 1:31.49).
Ella McConnell finished 4th in the 100 meter dash (Time- 15.66).
Shaelin Phillips came in 5th in the 800 meter run (Time- 3:20.41). She also placed 4th in the triple jump event (Result- 24’7”).
Larina Cochran placed 6th in the 800 meter run (Time- 3:28.88).
Nora Prestigiacomo placed 4th in the discus throw event (Result- 55’1”). She also came in 5th in the 400 meter run (Time- 1:21.98).
Megan Howard placed 5th in the 100 meter hurdles (Time- 22.21).
Thomas Rylee finished 3rd in the 1,500 meter run (Time- 6:45.45).
Sophia Hansen placed 5th in the high jump event (Result- 3’10”).
