High pressure will continue to keep a firm grip on our weather.
Skies will again be clear from start to finish today. Only a few thin clouds may be possible at times, but even that will be rare and hard to come by.
The high will remain centered to our west, keeping some blustery northwest winds in place. Wind speeds will be over 10, but less than 15 mph. Top gust will come in around 30 mph.
The air associated with the high pressure will be very dry, with afternoon relative humidity values around just 30%. Combines with the gusty winds, brush fires will be an elevated risk.
Temperatures will be a bit warmer today than yesterday but still well below average. Look for highs in the upper 40s.
Tonight, temperatures will quickly fall into the 30s with overnight lows around 30 degrees.
After sunset, the winds will subside, but skies will remain clear.
