Your Cortland County weather forecast for Wednesday, May 11, 2022:

It will be more of the same from the weather today with high pressure still overhead.

Winds will shift back to the northeast today after a turn to the southeast yesterday. Wind speeds will remain light, at or just above 5 mph. Top gusts should easily stay under 20 mph.

Skies will be mostly sunny throughout the day, with just a few stray thin cirrus clouds from time to time. No rain will fall from these clouds.

Afternoon temperatures will work their way into the mid 70s this afternoon, about ten degrees above the climatological average.

Tonight, skies will remain mostly clear and winds will be light. Temperatures will gradually work their way back through the 50s with an overnight low in the mid 40s.
