Your Cortland County weather forecast for Friday, May 13, 2022:

It will be yet another sunny, warm day today with high pressure still firmly in control of our weather pattern.

There may be some areas of fog early this morning, but they should burn off rather quickly. Sunshine will dominate the rest of the day, though some fair weather clouds will be possible as well.

There is a very low chance for a stray shower this afternoon, mainly over the southern half of the county. If such a shower did manage to develop, it would be very isolated and brief.

Winds will be from the southeast today with speeds near or just above 5 mph. Top gusts will be under 20 mph.

Temperatures will be warm with highs around or just shy of 80 degrees. Tonight will remain mild, with evening temperatures slowly dropping through the 60s and overnight lows around 60 degrees.

The nighttime hours will be quiet with partly cloudy to mostly clear skies and some valley fog developing.
