Cortland Purple Tigers Lose Tight Game vs. Central Square

The Cortland Purple Tigers lost a close game to Central Square with a score of 9-11 Monday night.

This was Cortland’s last game of the season. The Tigers ended their season with an overall record of 1-15. 

During the game, Cortland’s offense was led by Benjamin McGrath (5 goals & 4 assists), Ryan Kline (2 goals), Finn Thomas (1 goal & 1 assist), Bodey McGrath (1 goal), and Joseph Banewicz (1 assist). 

Central Square was led by Ryan Watrous (3 goals & 2 assists), Cian Shaughnessy (3 goals & 1 assist), Cameron Johnson (2 goals & 1 assist), Jeffrey Meyers (2 goals), Matthew Davis (1 goal), and Samuel Yonkers (1 assist).

Cortland goalies Declan Vail (5 saves) and Matthew Honan (2 saves) combined for a total of 7 saves in the game; while Kyle Waskiewicz made 10 saves for Central Square.
