Homer boys, girls lacrosse teams qualify for Section III Class C Tournaments

The Homer varsity girls and boys lacrosse squads qualified for their respective Section III Class C Tournaments.

The Trojans’ girls team is the 2nd seed in their Class C Tournament. Homer will host 7th-seeded Whitesboro at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the quarterfinal round. The winner of this game moves on to the semifinal round at Paul V. Moore High School in Central Square, which is slated for 5 p.m. next Thursday.

The Homer boys’ squad (10-5) is the 5th seed in its Class C Tournament. The Trojans will head to Jamesville-DeWitt High School this Saturday for a 10 a.m. quarterfinal round matchup against the Rams (11-5). The winner of this contest will trek to Paul V. Moore High School on Tuesday for a 6:30 p.m. start time in the semifinal round.
