Section III has announced matchups for the class softball tournaments that start this week.
Cincinnatus (5-8) is the ninth seed in the Class D Tournament. The Lions take on eighth-seeded Hamilton (13-5) in the first round this Tuesday at 5 p.m. The winner of this game moves on to the quarterfinal round to face host and top-seeded Stockbridge Valley (14-2) at 5 p.m. Thursday.
Homer (8-9) is the 14th seed in the Class B Tournament. The Trojans travel to Chittenango High School on Tuesday for a first round matchup against the third-seeded Bears (15-3). The winner of this game moves on to the quarterfinal round, where they will face either sixth-seeded Jordan-Elbridge (16-2) or 11th-seeded APW (7-6) at 5 p.m. Thursday at a location to be determined.
