Today will be a quiet day as high pressure builds in overhead.

Skies will be filled with sunshine today with just some small puffy fair weather clouds bubbling up during the daytime heating hours. These clouds should do little to block the sun and will not produce any precipitation.

Northwest winds will continue be dominant, with speeds of 5-10 mph throughout the day. Top gusts will come in around 25 mph.

The northwest winds will ensure it does not get too warm today, despite the sunshine. However, it will not be too cool, either, with highs around 70 degrees. This is right on target for early June, climatologically speaking.

Tonight, skies will be mostly clear throughout the night, even as a small disturbance moves through. This system will briefly turn winds to the southwest this evening before sending them back to the northwest as it passes by overnight.

Evening temperatures will drop to the mid 50s with low 50s for the overnight lows.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Saturday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Sunday: Clouds and some sun. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.

Monday: Sun and clouds. Maybe a stray shower. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.

Tuesday: Periods of rain, ending sometime in the afternoon. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.
