Diner in Homer to close next month

Kory’s Place, a diner in Homer that has been a staple locally for over 35 years, will be closing its doors in July due to the owners deciding to retire from the business.

Kevin and Deb Slack, owners of the diner, made the announcement on the Kory’s Place Facebook page late last week. According to the owners, Kory’s Place will officially close at 2 p.m. July 1.
