According to the county health department, as of June 10, the level of COVID-19 transmission in Cortland County is medium. For the week of June 6-12, there were 66 positive cases, one hospitalization, and two deaths.

As of June 12, there have been 11,619 total positive cases, over 690 total hospitalizations and 123 deaths in the county. According to the state’s current COVID-19 tracker, the 7-day average for percentage who test positive and cases per 100K is 4.1% and 12.8, respectively. 

As of June 12, the percentage of county residents fully vaccinated is over 59.7%, with 63% of residents that are 5 years-or-older reported as fully vaccinated. Additional county numbers show that 58% of county residents are fully vaccinated with a booster shot.
