The county health department noted as of June 17, the level of COVID-19 transmission in the county has dropped from medium to low.

There was one COVID-related hospital admission (June 13) this week. As of June 14, the amount of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 is six. No new deaths have been reported in the past week.

As of June 16, there have been 11,633 total positive cases, 691 total hospitalizations and 123 deaths in the county. According to the state as of June 16, the daily average of positive tests amongst county residents is 3.2%, and the weekly average of cases per 100K is 9.6.

The recent percentage of county residents fully vaccinated that are 5 years-or-older is 63%. Additional numbers show that 58.1% of county residents are fully vaccinated with a booster shot.
