High pressure will keep the weather dry but some clouds will move in today to limit the sunshine somewhat.

The morning hours will start off clear and sunny. Before noon, though, thin clouds should begin to work their way in from the west.

The clouds will thicken during the afternoon, resulting in a drop in sunshine. Some sun should still filter through the overcast, though.

Clouds will persist into the evening and through the overnight hours. However, rain is not expected until a few showers move in early Tuesday morning.

Winds today will be out of the northwest once again but will be lighter than the last few days. Wind speeds will be near or just above 5 mph. Top gusts will come in around 20 mph.

Tonight, the wind will go calm at first, but will then pick up again from the south with speeds around 5 mph for the overnight.

Temperatures will be a bit warmer than the weekend was, but still below average for this time of the year. Highs should be just a degree or two above 70 degrees.

Evening temperatures will drop back to the mid 50s, then hold steady through the overnight.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Tuesday: Morning clouds and a few showers. Afternoon sun. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.

Wednesday: Sunny and clouds. Afternoon showers and storms possible. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs in the upper 80s.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with showers and maybe a thunderstorm. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the low 70s.

Friday: A few showers. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.
