The City of Cortland Police Department will be holding its annual bike auction this Saturday from 8-10 a.m. at The Armory on 25 Wheeler Avenue.

City police chief Paul Sandy noted the price range for the bikes is between $25-50. Bikes will be limited to two per person, unless there’s a family with more than two children.

Sandy noted there will be over 40 bikes to choose from, with bike parts also for sale.

The bikes will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Reasonable offers for the bikes will be accepted.

Sandy is unsure where the unsold bikes will go, and what organization the raised funds from the bike sale will be donated to. Details on both remains to be seen.
