Independence Day will be a great day to be outside with high pressure continuing to keep the weather pleasant.
Sunshine will abound once again today, though thin clouds will gradually increase through the afternoon. Late in the day, the thin clouds may become widespread enough to filter a bit of the sunshine.
No rain is expected at any time, though.
A light northwest wind will blow with speeds around 5 mph. Top gusts should come in just under 20 mph.
Afternoon highs will be warm, but not too hot, topping out close to the seasonal averages in the upper 70s. Humidity will remain low with dewpoints near or under 50 degrees.
Tonight, clouds will continue to increase and winds will go calm. Temperatures will drop through the 60s, but will probably remain no lower than the low 60s.
