According to the county health department as of July 15, the level of COVID-19 transmission in Cortland County is low. For the week of July 11-17, there were 65 positive cases, five hospital admissions and one new death.

As of July 17, there have been 11,756 total positive cases, 705 total hospitalizations and 124 deaths in the county. According to the state’s current COVID-19 tracker, the 7-day average for percentage who test positive and cases per 100K is 7.1% and 13.1, respectively.

The recent percentage of county residents fully vaccinated is 59.9%, with 63.1% of residents that are 5 years-or-older reported as fully vaccinated. Additional county numbers show that 58.4% of county residents are fully vaccinated with a booster shot.
