Temperatures will remain warm and rain chances low, but not zero.

A small weather disturbance will pass through the area this afternoon. Ahead of the system, southwest winds will blow lightly this morning.

Skies will start sunny today before mixing with fair weather clouds and some mid level clouds associated with the disturbance. Mixed skies will persist through the afternoon.

During the mid to late afternoon, a few stray shower and storms will pop up. These will be scattered, so many areas will see little to no rain. Even those that do will only see a brief period and light amounts.

If any thunderstorms develop, some brief gusty winds will be possible.

The chances for rain and thunder will end during the late afternoon, leaving a quiet evening with mostly clear skies.

Temperatures will work their way into mid 80s this afternoon. Winds will turn more west or northwesterly as the disturbance passes by late.

This should help evening temperatures to quickly reach 70 degrees, though it will be a slower thereafter to the mid 60s overnight.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Saturday: Sun and clouds. Very small chance for a stray shower late. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs near 90.

Sunday: Sun and clouds. Hot. Some late showers and storms, increasing in the evening and overnight. Morning lows in the upper 60s. Afternoon highs in the low 90s.

Monday: Morning showers. Some afternoon sun. Morning lows in the upper 60s. Afternoon highs near 80.

Tuesday: Sun and a few clouds. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.
