Another small weather disturbance will pass nearby today with a chance for a few stray showers or storms.

Dry weather is expected through the morning and into the early afternoon. Sunshine will mix with some fair weather clouds, as is usually the case.

A steady southwest wind will blow with speeds of 5-10 mph. Top gusts on the day will be around 25 mph.

The sunshine and winds will help temperatures warm with afternoon highs in the upper 80s to near 90.

Dewpoints will be in the 50s for much of the day, but will rise into the low and mid 60s during the latter half of the afternoon. This is when a few stray showers and storms may pop up.

The chances of not seeing rain are probably higher than getting any. Even if it does rain, it should be brief, and the amounts will not be overly beneficial.

Skies will clear this evening until some thin clouds move in overnight. Southwest winds will persist, keeping temperatures elevated. Evening temperatures will stick to the 70s with overnight lows in the mid and upper 60s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Sunday: Sun and clouds with an occasional shower or storm. Hot. Morning lows in the upper 60s. Afternoon highs in the low 90s.

Monday: Morning showers. Some afternoon sun. Morning lows in the upper 60s. Afternoon highs near 80.

Tuesday: Sun and a few clouds. Morning lows in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.

Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.
