An early morning cold front will move through, ending the chances for rain and the high heat of the weekend.

A few morning showers will be possible before the front moves through. These will be most likely before 9 AM.

Behind the front, skies will gradually clear, and much of the afternoon should be sunny with just a few fair weather clouds.

A steady northwest wind will pick up behind the front with speeds around 10 mph. A few gusts over 25 mph will be possible as well.

Temperatures will hold in the low and mid 70s through the morning. Once the sun comes out, look for an afternoon high around 80 degrees. Some of the northern hills will stick to the mid and upper 70s.

Tonight, skies will be clear with some occasional thin clouds. Evening temperatures will quickly drop through the 60s with a comfortable overnight low in the mid 50s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Tuesday: Sun and a few clouds. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.
