According to the county health department as of July 22, the level of COVID-19 transmission in Cortland County is low. For the week of July 18-24, there were 81 positive cases, three hospital admissions, but no new deaths.

As of July 24, there have been 11,811 total positive cases, 708 total hospitalizations and 125 deaths in the county. According to the state’s current COVID-19 tracker, the 7-day average for percentage who test positive and cases per 100K is 7.8% and 16.4, respectively.

The recent percentage of county residents fully vaccinated is 59.9%, with 63.2% of residents that are 5 years-or-older reported as fully vaccinated. Additional county numbers show that 58.6% of county residents are fully vaccinated with a booster shot.
