High pressure will build in from the west today behind a series of cold fronts yesterday and overnight.

Some lingering clouds from the fronts will be possible through the early morning hours, but it should not take long for the sun to shine this morning.

Once the sun breaks through, it should stay out. Small fair weather cumulus clouds will mix in during the daytime heating hours.

While a stray, brief shower cannot be totally ruled out this morning, most areas will remain completely dry.

West and northwest winds will set up with the high pressure well to our west. Wind speeds will be around 10 mph with gusts of 20-25 mph.

Temperatures will not be all that different than yesterday with highs in the mid low 80s. However, dewpoints will be much lower in the mid 50s, so it will not feel as muggy as yesterday.

Clear skies are expected tonight with temperatures falling through the 60s, bottoming out with overnight lows in the mid 50s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Saturday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.

Sunday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.

Monday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs in the upper 80s.

Tuesday: Showers and storms possible. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.
