Area residents were invited to the Homer Town Hall Thursday night to view and discuss the proposed Edible Park in Homer.

Matt Potteiger of SUNY ESF presented on behalf of the Food Policy Subcommittee, a part of the Cortland Food Project. The subcommittee includes Adrianne Traub of Seven Valley Health Coalition, who is the project manager and Amy Riotto of the Child Development Council.

Residents heard about different design options for the park, including what structures and plants could be included. They were also given the chance to voice both their concerns and support for the project.

The next subcommittee meeting will be via zoom on Monday.
