High pressure to the west will deliver plenty of sunshine and comfortable temperatures today.

Clear skies this morning will gradually mix with small fair weather cumulus clouds late this morning and into the afternoon. None of these clouds are expected to produce any rain showers.

With the high to the west, winds today will come in from the northwest. The wind will build to around 10 mph during the midday and early afternoon hours with gusts around or just over 25 mph.

The steady northwest wind will help hold temperatures in check. Afternoon highs will range from the upper 70s in most areas to the mid 70s in the higher terrain. Dewpoints will be low, ranging through the 50s.

As the daytime heating is lost, the clouds will dissipate, and skies will return to being clear for the evening and overnight. Temperatures will quickly fall through the 60s as winds calm. Overnight lows will again range through the 50s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Sunday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.

Monday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.

Tuesday: A few scattered showers and storms possible. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.

Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.
