A weak weather system will pass through the area this morning.

Clouds and a few scattered showers are expected through the morning. None of the rain will be heavy or long lasting, and many areas may see little to no rain.

The showers will become more isolated in the afternoon but will still be possible. Eventually, the showers will completely end, and skies will begin to turn sunny.

After southwest winds overnight, northwest winds will quickly take over this morning and persist throughout the day. Wind speeds will be at their strongest in the afternoon, coming in around 10 mph. Top gusts should stay under 25 mph.

Temperatures will spend much of the day in the 70s, but as the atmosphere dries out in the second half of the afternoon, temperatures will pop up into the low 80s.

Tonight, skies will be mostly clear with diminishing winds. Evening temperatures will quickly drop back into the 60s with overnight lows in the upper 50s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Wednesday: Sunny until some thin overcast late. Morning lows in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.

Thursday: Sun and clouds with a small chance for a late storm. Morning lows in the upper 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 90s, but lower if the rain chances increase

Friday: Mostly cloudy with showers and storms. Morning lows in the upper 60s. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.

Saturday: Scattered showers and storms. Morning lows in the upper 60s. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.
