An area of low pressure and its cold front will move through the region today.

The front will be slow moving and will weakening, leading to some uncertainty in the amount of precipitation that will be associated with it.

Rain will be possible at almost any time today, but much of the day will probably end up dry. Scattered showers this morning will be most plentiful early on, then should decrease.

This afternoon, a few pop up showers and storms will be possible. Some areas will see rain, others may not.

With the front dissipating overhead, winds will be light and variable today. Wind speeds will be under 5 mph and the direction will shift to and fro.

High temperatures this afternoon will depend partially on the sunshine to showers ratio, but should end up in the low to mid 80s. It will be very humid, with dewpoints remaining around 70 degrees.

Any showers will diminish late in the afternoon or early in the evening. Quiet conditions are expected overnight with partly cloudy skies.

It will remain warm overnight with lows in the upper 60s.

Tuesday: Rain and thunder. Morning lows in the low 70s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.
