A fire in the Town of Solon destroyed a vegetable stand Sunday morning, according to the Cortlandville Fire Department Facebook page.
The fire at the 8 x 16 stand, located at Maybury Road near Lapp Hill Road in Solon, was “deemed accidental,” the report notes. The owner of the stand did not want to disclose the reason as to why the fire started, said Cortlandville assistant fire chief Mike Biviano.

Cortlandville firefighters responded to the scene at about 6:20 a.m. Sunday, and cleared the scene after 7:30 a.m. Biviano noted that the owner lost “quite a haul” of vegetable stock in the fire.
No injuries, and no damage to other structures or property was reported.
