High pressure will build in today for a break in the rain chances.

Sunshine this morning will mix with a few fair weather clouds during the midday and afternoon hours. A brief spit of rain cannot be totally ruled out, but the chances of seeing any rain are miniscule.

A light wind will blow with speeds at or under 5 mph. Early on, this wind will come from the southwest. Most of the day it will be a westerly wind. Late in the afternoon, it will continue to shift, becoming more northerly.

Temperatures will be mild, but not too hot. Look for afternoon highs to reach the low 80s in the northern half of the county with mid 80s to the south. Dewpoints will remain comfortably low in the low and mid 50s.

Skies will clear back out this evening with temperatures retreating through the 60s. The wind will shift again and a southerly breeze will set up, holding temperatures to around 60 degrees overnight.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Saturday: Sun and clouds. A few afternoon showers and storms. Morning lows near 60. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.

Sunday: Scattered showers and storms. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.

Monday: Showers and storms. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.

Tuesday: Showers and storms. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.
