High pressure will move through this morning and depart to the east this afternoon.

Most of the day will be sunny and pleasant beneath the high pressure. Any early morning fog will burn off, leaving mostly clear skies. Fair weather clouds will then start to bubble up, as usual.

Late in the afternoon, a few stray showers and rumbles of thunder will be possible. Not all areas will see rain, and those that do should not see much.

Winds will be light and variable with the high in close proximity. Eventually, around or after sunset, a southeast winds will take hold with speeds around 5 mph.

Temperatures will be similar to yesterday with highs near or just under 80 degrees. Evening temperatures will fall back into the mid 60s.

Skies tonight will remain partly cloudy with a few stray showers out and about. The best chance for a shower will be early in the evening, and then again towards dawn. Again, most areas will probably not see any rain.

Overnight lows will settle near 60 degrees.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Friday: Showers and thunderstorms, especially in the midday and afternoon hours. Morning lows near 60. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.

Saturday: Some early clouds and a few showers. Then some sun. Morning lows in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Sunday: Sun and clouds. Maybe a few afternoon showers. Morning lows in the upper 50s. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.

Monday: Sun and clouds. Maybe a few afternoon showers. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.
