The frontal boundary that has kept our weather wet the last couple of days will continue to hang around the region today.

The front will be weaker today and without an area of low pressure moving along it. As a result, showers will still be around, but steady, heavy rain is unlikely.

Today will mostly have scattered to isolated brief, light showers. These will be possible at almost any time but will especially be likely in the afternoon. Only minimal rain amounts are expected.

Outside of the showers, skies will remain rather cloudy. A few breaks of sun are not out of the question, but they will be the exception to the rule.

Northeast winds will blow at near or just over 5 mph. Top gusts on the day will be under 20 mph.

Afternoon highs will be in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees. Temperatures will slide back into the 60s this evening with overnight lows reaching the mid 50s.

A few more spits of rain will be possible through the nighttime hours.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Maybe a lingering shower in the morning. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the low 70s.

Thursday: Sun, clouds, and perhaps a few showers. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Friday: Sunny with a few clouds. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Saturday: Sun early, then increasing clouds with a few late showers possible. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.
