The weather will be quiet again today, but there will be signs of another incoming unsettled period.

After a sunny start, thin clouds will begin to move in from the southwest this morning. At first, these clouds will do little to block the sun.

Through the afternoon, however, the clouds will increase and thicken. By the late afternoon, there may still be some sun filtering through the clouds, but it will be limited.

Despite the increasing clouds, there will be no rain during the day or this evening. A few showers could work their way into the region after midnight, however.

Accompanying the increasing cloud will be a steady south wind. The wind will be light, with speeds around 5 mph, but it will be persistent and will continue into the evening and overnight.

Afternoon highs will push into the upper 70s due to the winds. Evening temperatures will slowly drop through the 60s with a low in the low 60s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Sunday: Cloudy with occasional showers. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs near 70.

Monday: Cloudy with showers and afternoon thunderstorms. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs in the low 70s.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy. Scattered showers. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs near 70.

Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs near 70.
