Warm air will continue to make inroads into the region today, which could lead to a stray shower or storm.

Skies this morning will be a mix of clouds and some sun. A stray shower cannot be totally ruled out but it pretty unlikely.

The chances for rain will drop to nearly zero for the midday and early afternoon, but then will increase in the mid and late afternoon.

At that time, some scattered showers and storms will move through the region. Not all areas will see rain this afternoon.

Afternoon highs will warm to around 80 degrees. Some of the higher elevations will stick to the upper 70s.

Any rain showers or storms that move through should exit by the evening hours, leaving partly cloudy skies. A few more showers may be possible towards dawn, but most of the night will be dry.
