County Sheriff’s Office: Man charged with DWI and multiple infractions

A Town of Genoa man was arrested earlier this week after he was found to be driving while intoxicated and without a license, according to a Cortland County Sheriff’s Office report.

Andrew J. Hulslander, 51, was pulled over by officers on McLean Road in the Town of Cortlandville “for multiple traffic infractions,” the report states.

The report notes that Hulslander was not only operating the vehicle without a license, but also intoxicated.

Hulslander was arrested and charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operator (a felony); driving while intoxicated (a misdemeanor); and failure to use designated lane, improper signal, failure to stop at steady red arrow and refusal of a breath test (all infractions).

Hulslander was processed, arraigned and released on one’s own recognizance. He is slated to appear in Cortlandville court at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 28.
