The City of Cortland Department of Public Works is slated to pave streets this week, starting today. The paving process comes after Cortland DPW milled some streets a couple weeks ago.

DPW will begin with binder courses on Jewett Avenue and Dunsmore Avenue – followed by surface courses on Jewett Avenue, Dunsmore Avenue, Cowance Street, Rob Roy Street and West Main Street.

Residents should expect some street closures and limited access while the top-course process is taking place. DPW is also asking to not park on the street during the paving process.

Dates for paving the streets are subject to change based on weather conditions.
