Varsity Football: Cortland vs. Chittenango

The Cortland Tigers lost a tough game against Chittenango with a final score of 0-31 at home Friday night.
With this loss, Cortland now holds an overall record of 0-4.
Chittenango’s points were scored by Kyle Wehrlin (1 interception touchdown & 1 punt return touchdown), Hunter Taylor (1 receiving touchdown), Jack Lamphere (1 rushing touchdown), Jack Lamphere (1 touchdown pass), and Chase Brummer (1 field goal & 4 extra point kicks).
Up next, Cortland will play ITC Syracuse on the road on Friday (October 7th) at 7pm.

The Homer Trojans improved their unbeaten record to 4-0 after defeating ITC Syracuse 41-21 at Homecoming Friday night.

Varsity Girls Soccer: Cincinnatus vs. Cazenovia

The Cincinnatus Lady Lions improved their unbeaten record to 9-0 after winning 4-1 against Cazenovia Friday afternoon.
Cincinnatus was led by Kyla Sustad (2 goals & 1 assist), Cassia Schuyler (2 goals), Madelyn Pittsley (1 assist), and Ava Larrabee (1 assist).
Cazenovia was led by Julia Reff (1 goal) and Skye Stanford (7 saves).
Cincinnatus was scheduled to play DeRuyter at home today (October 1st) at 11am. Updates on the game will be reported on the Cortland Voice website this upcoming Monday (October 3rd).
Varsity Girls Soccer: Marathon vs. Whitney Point

The Marathon Lady Olympians beat Whitney Point with a final score of 8-1 on Friday.
With this result, Marathon improved to a 5-6 record.
Marathon was led by Brenna VanDee (2 goals & 1 assist), Aubrie Brown (1 assist), Abby Ensign (3 goals), Audrey Jasper (1 goal & 1 assist), Addison Oram (2 goals), Kennedy Eaton (1 assist), Addison Williams (1 assist), and Kendre Euson (1 save).
Whitney Point was led by Kayla Ellerson (1 goal) and Cassie Hayes (11 saves).

Varsity Field Hockey: Marathon vs. Spencer Van Etten (SVE)
The Marathon Field Hockey team improved to a 7-4 record after beating SVE 3-1 on Friday.
Marathon was led by Delaney Reilly (1 goal), Abby Edsall (1 goal), Savanna Warfield (1 goal), Anastasia Cupps (1 assist), and Cassie Forrest (5 saves).
SVE was led by Erika Coville (1 goal) and Katelyn Klym (6 saves).
Marathon will now host Maine-Endwell at 4:30pm this Monday (October 3rd).
Varsity Boys Golf: Cortland vs. Hannibal
The Cortland Purple Tigers defeated Hannibal with an overall team score of 217-261. (Reminder: lowest score in golf wins).
