Gas prices are slowly, but surely decreasing in Cortland County.
According to GasBuddy, gas prices at the Mobil and Byrne Dairy on South West Street in the village of Homer are under $3-per-gallon ($2.98). GasBuddy also lists six gas stations with prices at $3.25-per-gallon or less.
According to AAA, the average gas price in the county currently stands at $3.309. The current average in New York State is $3.596, and $3.799 in the country.
